Sunriver 2004

Our annual trip with grandparents and cousins to a cabin at Sunriver...

Every year we go to Sunriver for a week with our granparents and our cousins. Here we are on our way.

This is a sketch of Missy sleeping in the back seat of the van.

Here we are in the car...on an 8 hour trip....with nothing to do.

Last year Nicholas and Rosie both bought blankets that said SunRiver on them. Then Rae, Missy and Bootsie recieved blankets for their birthdays.

Nicholas and Bootsie stole Rae's stuffed dog and It went on from there except she didn't know that about half way through the game the dog went into Missy's possession without Rae knowing.

Missy doesn't like possessed stuff.

Rosie and Nicholas were freaked out at the movie 'The Village'!! But I guess everyone who sees that movie has to close their eyes at at least one part.

Missy,Rosie and Bootsie got their nails done.

Our Grandpa tries to get us lost once on the trip, and this shows Rosie and Missy being unsuccessfully lost.

We were playing tag and Missy, Nicholas and Rosie kept hiding underneath the water everytime they thought Bootsie was looking, except she knew where they were anyway.

This started because Nicholas kept getting out of bed and scaring us so we all eventually were out of bed and sneaking around in the dark.

Rosie was scared that the cave would "cave" in so she walked with Grandpa the whole time. Nicholas tried to scare us and Rae, Missy and Bootsie were singing loudly.

We always go on a canoe trip and jump off this rock into the river that we can get to in the canoe. As you can see Bootsie takes a while to finally be persuaded to jump into the water.

One day we went canoeing,and boy were we tired!

Every time we go to SunRiver we have one entirely icecream dinner.

When you go to a place like sunriver there will be bugs everywhere, so this is kind of like their contribution...or Rosie could have just run out of ideas for drawings.

When we go to sunriver every kid has a night where they get to pick their own special dinner and movie, and "The Blues Brothers" was Rosie's.

Rosie first got Prince then Bootsie got Sheldon, Rae got Michael (which was changed to Michelle), Nicholas got Cat (which was first called Napolean Dynamite but was changed because Missy wanted that name) and Missy got the llama which you can ride for 7 dollars.

We went to Todd Lake and while Rosie and the grandparents walked around the lake, Missy, Nicholas and Bootsie (Rae got hurt) played on a log out in the water that wouldn't stay straight.

We do a play every year and this year we did "The Not So Nice Cinderella" and we did the green alligater song (see the second page of dance moves) during the ball.

The day we left was Bootsie's 12th birthday so she rode in the front seat for an hour before being shoved off to the camped back seat where you have no power (notice Rae is eating her book).
